I had the pleasure of attending a Micro Retreat at Emerson Fields in Macon, MO. This bright, colorful, and creative styled shoot was braindstormed and presented by two amazing photographers, who I look up to- Emily Broadbent (St. Louis Wedding Photographer) and Trent Broglin (St. Louis Wedding and Lifestyle Photographer). Ever since I booked Emily as my wedding photographer, I have seen the numerous retreats that her and Trent have done and always wished to attend. Well, actually I attended one prior to this- but my husband and I were actually in front of the lens. I dreamt of being BEHIND the lens. I did just that and picked the perfect one!! This retreat had me bursting with excitment all day!! I learned a lot, got to be surrounded with very talented photographers, and shot a ton of content. Scroll on through to see all the goodness and colorful magic that Emerson Fields entailed!

The first station was styled with a beautiful blue sofa for Bride and Groom Portraits. We photographed "cake cutting" as well. The cake was a three tiered cake topped with dainty colored florals- absolutly stunning. The groom had a donot mountain groom cake that looked delish, unfortunately im not a fan of donuts... but I hope he enjoyed. This couple was actually engaged during the retreat and were getting hitched the following month. Bittersweet....

This shoot had two brides!! This gorgeous model was specifically for bridal-inspiration. She rocked two dresses, looked stunning, and even wrangled goats. Yes, I said goats. Keep scrolling!

The rest of the images showcase the beautiful venue, Emerson Fields. Inside and out- this place is a gorgeous wedding spot. Emily and Trent really go all out for these styled shoots.... CHECK IT OUT!!
